Our Development Trust
Helping the next generation get a strong start in life
With a vision to improve the quality of education by providing a safe, nourishing learning environment to preschool children in disadvantaged communities, the HomeChoice Development Trust was set up in 2012.
We saw an urgent need to focus on Early Childhood Development (ECD) in underprivileged communities in the Western Cape, South Africa.
We build schools, train and improve educators skills and we equip preschool owners with sustainable operating processes. This makes for a sustainable school that makes a real difference in their children’s lives and empower job opportunities (mainly women) to make a mark in their communities.
Over the years, we’ve built strong, lasting partnerships with nonprofit organisations that share our passion for ECD and have a solid track record of making a real difference.
